Auckland, the beautiful city of sails, hosts thousands of weddings every year. With endless options catering to every budget, theme, and vibe, every couple can find their perfect wedding venue here in Auckland.

Here is a list of my recommendations, along with information about each venue and gallery links to the weddings I have photographed at these locations.

Bridgewater Country Estate

Bridgewater Country Estate is an Auckland wedding venue set on 16 acres of rolling lawns, native bush, landscaped gardens, and mature trees. Perfect for nature lovers, this Kumeu wedding venue can accommodate up to 140 guests. With chalet accommodation and a bridal getting ready suite, it ticks all the boxes. The super-friendly service and helpful hosts make hiring this Auckland venue a dream for your wedding. Allely Estate

If you are looking for a wedding venue in Auckland that is full of lush greenery, Allely Estate is the place for you. It offers tree-lined pathways, beautifully manicured lawns and gardens, a vast grassy field, and stunning outdoor areas for guests to mingle. The options for your ceremony are vast, with many different places to choose from. The purpose-built marquee is spacious and can host 50 to 400 guests. One of the standout features of Allely Estate is the delicious food that will leave your guests satisfied. Abel Estate

Abel Estate Abel Estate, a former Kumeu vineyard, offers a modern and fresh venue with a gorgeous outdoor pergola setting that is perfectly designed for wedding ceremonies. It also has a beautiful indoor reception space that can seat 100 guests. This venue provides great options for photography, including a small vineyard, a pond and jetty, the iconic pergola, and the surrounding lawn and gardens with majestic trees and tidy pathways. It serves well for both indoor and outdoor weddings, with excellent options for a rainy day. Abbeville Estate

Abbeville Estate in South Auckland is an absolute delight. The 150-year-old heritage white reception building is beautiful and meticulously restored. It can host up to 450 guests or 250 seated guests, making it perfect for large weddings. The grounds are perfectly landscaped with gardens, lawns, and historical buildings. The barn serves as an excellent additional location for some rustic wedding photos. With multiple areas on the lawn, including right in front of the most beautiful willow tree, the gardens, the homestead, the barn, and the church, your choices for the ceremony are endless. This venue can be cozy and intimate or grand as you need. It can offer a rustic, chic, and luxurious atmosphere, with plenty of parking and charm. Take a look at their website HERE. Bali Garden – Matakana

This exquisite wedding venue in Matakana is tucked secretly away and is a real gem. Once you discover this place, you may not want to look anywhere else. Set amongst a perfect palm tree plantation, this Auckland wedding venue offers a tropical vibe like no other. It lives up to its Bali name perfectly. On-site accommodation is great for getting ready and provides a place to stay to finish up the wedding night. The stunning outdoor pergola is perfect for wedding ceremonies in the palm tree plantation, and this area offers the most epic wedding photography. Take a look at their website HERE. Barnett Hall – North Piha

For those planning a DIY wedding or those who want the best of Auckland’s west coast beaches right at their doorstep, Barnett Hall is the perfect wedding venue. This stylish hall was built in the 1950s and is perfectly situated in North Piha. A platform outside the hall provides a great site for outdoor ceremonies, and the inside of the hall is ideal for the reception. Take a few steps to Piha Beach for your wedding photos, and you’ll have the wedding of your dreams. Good George – Mission Bay

Mantells Mount Eden

Mantells in Mount Eden offers a unique blend of luxury and rustic charm, making it an exceptional wedding venue. Nestled in the heart of Mount Eden, this Sicilian villa exudes romance.
