Set in the tranquil town of Cambridge, this wedding was relaxed and laid back, like the Bride and Groom themselves. The main aim of this day was to have a good time. Of course, my job was to get all those happy moments documented on camera and these two were so in love that they made my job easy. The venue was the rustic Te Miro Woolshed near Te Awamutu, which was perfectly suited to the vibe of this couple and their happy guests.

Te Miro Woolshed, Cambridge

Laura & Darren

Te Miro Woolshed, located in the heart of the Waikato, offers a beautiful and rustic wedding venue with breathtaking views of the Kaimai Ranges. Starting as a host for weddings in their 100-year-old woolshed in 2013, they have since built a new and improved rustic venue while maintaining the authentic character. Their newly built purpose-built venue can accommodate up to 100 guests, and the all-weather option with converted rustic stables and roll-down sides for cooler weather ensures a perfect vibe for a relaxed and entertaining wedding. Te Miro Woolshed's mature trees and landscaped gardens provide plenty of shade over the summer months, and guests can enjoy the quirky activities such as giant lawn games and a unique photo booth for endless fun and entertainment. With a self-service bar and food trucks, guests can catch up with friends and family while enjoying a drink and a bite to eat. The staff at Te Miro Woolshed are focused on providing a memorable experience for their guests and take pride in creating an enjoyable atmosphere where guests have the opportunity to interact with many activities.
