A Beautiful Beach Wedding at the Mount

I first met Millie at a wedding I photographed for my good friend a year earlier. She was a bridesmaid and I remember her as having such a fun and vibrant personality. Not long after that wedding, Millie contacted me about being her wedding photographer. As I am with all couples who book me based on their experiences with me at another wedding, I was stoked!

Throughout the year, we kept in touch as her and her fiancé Niwa put their plans together. When it finally came to the day of their wedding, I was really looking forward to it! The previous bride at whose wedding we met, was also a bridesmaid, so it was a bit of a reunion (which I love!).

Millie’s 4 bridesmaids were dressed in trendy dresses from Blak Bridesmaids and the amazingly talented Tauranga based Joanna Gloyne teamed with equally awesome Brittany Williamson for hair and makeup of all the bridal party.

The Lads – Getting Ready

Guys getting ready Mount Maunganui wedding photography — The guys had hired out an Airbnb just down the road from the ladies and had a relaxed and fun time getting ready. With a few haka’s performed to celebrate Niwa’s Maori roots, and some bevvies in the sun, this big grooms party were here for a good time.

The groom and groomsmen, clad in off-white Hallensteins suits looked so smart and their look complemented the bridesmaids well later on during portrait photos.
